Airbrush Tattoo Aftercare & Removal

Glitter-Arty Air brush tattoo service in London and across the UKjpg

How Long Do Airbrush Tattoos Last?

Airbrush tattoos typically last between 3 and 7 days, depending on skin type, placement and aftercare.

Areas with less friction, such as the upper arm, tend to last longer, while hands and areas exposed to regular washing may fade more quickly.

How to Care for Your Airbrush Tattoo

To keep your airbrush tattoo looking fresh for as long as possible:

  • avoid scrubbing or exfoliating the area

  • keep the tattoo dry for the first few hours after application

  • gently pat the area dry after washing

  • apply a small amount of talcum powder daily to reduce oils and moisture

  • avoid chlorinated pools, saunas and excessive sweating where possible

How to Remove an Airbrush Tattoo

Airbrush tattoos are designed to last, so soap and water alone may not fully remove them.

To remove your tattoo:

  • apply baby oil, makeup remover or isopropyl alcohol

  • gently wipe the area with a cotton pad

  • allow the product to break down the design rather than scrubbing

Repeat if needed until the tattoo fades completely.

Skin Safety and Considerations

We use cosmetic-grade, skin-safe products suitable for most skin types. However, airbrush tattoos should not be applied to broken, irritated or sensitive skin.

If you experience any discomfort, the tattoo should be removed gently using the methods above.
